Welcome to the central hub of my digital reflections.
For a while, my interests were scattered across different corners of the web, like having three different WordPress sites. I had one space for gaming, another for books, and a third for fitness. I’ve come to the conclusion that these things don't exist in separately in my life, but are a cohesive part of who I am and my personality. Plus, it's so much easier to have everything in one space, y'know?.
So, Beck Reflects is my way of putting my life together in one little area of the web. I even have my own domain! Slay for me.
What to Expect
Play: I’m starting by bringing over some of my favorite legacy posts, like my deep dives into the Steam Link setup and my thoughts on Stray. Going forward, expect more reflections on game mechanics and narrative choices. Maybe some cool news
Read & Move: These categories are getting a fresh start. Whether it’s a life-changing nonfiction book or a milestone in my fitness journey, this is where I’ll be documenting the "second thoughts" that come after the action.
The Caveat
Right now, my life is largely defined by work and a major upcoming graduate exam in mid-February. Because of that, things might be a little quiet here for the next two weeks while I stay focused on my goals.
Once that monster is dealt with, I'll be coming back full force because I truly miss writing, and I want to keep track of my thoughts since it's pretty easy to forget how something impacted me or made me feel.
